LOCATION: 177 PONDFIELD RD., BRONXVILLE

The Katie Welling Memorial Run/Walk is a wonderful community event that honors Katie Welling, a 2002 BHS graduate who died in an off-campus fire at Miami University in Ohio. Katie had just turned 21. The Run/Walk commemorates Katie's wonderful sense of humor, her infectious laugh, and her love of life.

We also remember Tom Welling, Katie's father, who passed away in 2022. Tom led us in planning this special event for fifteen years and was an incredible friend and asset to the Bronxville community.

Katie's Run/Walk is a 2.5 mile race on Saturday, November 30. Participants will meet in front of the Bronxville School. Check-in will open at 8 AM, and the race will start at 9 AM. 

If you are not able to attend in person, you may also participate virtually by running, walking or biking any time from November 15 through 30. Walking or running on a treadmill or riding on a stationary bike at home are also great ways to participate.

In-Person Participation:

The registration fee for the in-person event is $25 through November 29, and $30 to register the day of the event.

• Friday, November 29, between 10 AM and 3 PM at Fleet Feet, 52 Pondfield Rd, Bronxville, NY
• Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 8:45 AM at the front entrance of the Bronxville School, 177 Pondfield Rd., Bronxville, NY

Payment in person may be made by cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

Virtual Participation:

There is no registration fee to participate virtually, but a tax-deductible contribution would be welcomed.
